Cast:
-Main Characters: I think it’s appropriate for the genre. In this movie, there was some development in the relationship between Miyako and Hana, which I find quite nice given the current conclusion of this work’s anime adaptation. (3/7)
-Supporting: Honestly, even though I’m glad so many of them appeared in this movie, none of them had a truly significant role; I’d only highlight Hana’s grandmother for being a new character. (1/3)
Logic:
I watched this movie long after finishing the first season of the anime. I still have a lot of questions that will remain unanswered with the prequel, but at least in this movie, everything held up well. (10/10)
Entertainment (Personal):
I thought it would be really hard for me to adjust to watching a story where most of the main cast are elementary school girls, but just over a minute into the movie, I couldn’t help but feel quite nostalgic just from seeing Hinata. (7/10)

What I value most about this movie is the development of the friendship between Hana and Miyako; honestly, I consider it a pretty beautiful relationship after all the “memorable” experiences they went through. Anyway, it was just a fun field trip. (4/20)
Comments:
Despite the low score, I don’t consider it a disappointment in my case because it exceeded my low expectations, and the nostalgia—or simply seeing these characters again after so many years, with their fun and quirky dynamic—made me enjoy it even though the plot is simple. Anyway, I enjoyed Wataten.
Final score: 6.2.
